My goal of course, is to get my business growing and monetize myself. This isn't going to be easy, I just cringed writing it out.
But eventually, I need to show a return on investment, right? I mean, what if something ever happened to my husband. We'd do okay, but I want more for my children than okay.
I remember a story I read once about some factory workers. When they'd go outside to eat lunch, one guy always brought a book and would sit there reading. The other guys discovered a dog that would come for scraps, and so they decided to teach him how to dance.
Eventually, the dog could dance a jig and entertained the men during their lunches. During the same time, the guy who was reading learned everything required for the manager's job and became their boss.
That story has stuck with me for years as an example of what you can do with your time if you want to. What are you going to do with yours?
